Our Live Bands
Screening
To become an AffordaBand artist, ALL bands are subjected to one of the
most rigorous screening processes of any agency in the UK. For this reason,
after receiving so many band applications in the last few years, we still
currently only represent 21 hand-picked artists in total, making us one
of the most selective agencies in the UK. Most agencies agree to represent
bands simply on the strength of a referral alone, and have never actually
seen or met the band they are selling! We agree to represent a band only
after personally seeing 2 separate live gigs from EACH BAND, in different
styles of venue each time and playing to different styles of audience.
But it doesn’t stop there!
Repertoire
We then supply each act with a large stylized repertoire of song suggestions
that are tested crowd favourites from which they draw songs to add to
their sets, and we also address any areas of possible improvement in the
band’s stage performance. By this stage, we know if they have a
large enough repertoire to be truly flexible to our clients needs, are
consistent performers each and every time they play, and are regularly
reliable and always good people to deal with.

Because of this long screening process, we end up with bands who we get
to know and trust personally, and so from start to finish, we provide
you with a service that has been tested successfully many times before.
